Announcement: New Procedure for Access to the HSL as of 03-03-2025

Dear visitors,
We would like to inform you about an important change in the access procedure for the HSL, which will take effect on 03-03-2025. As part of sustainability efforts, physical passes will no longer be issued. Instead, the HSL Safety Instruction Certificate will be available digitally.

What is changing?

Digital certificates with QR code
After successfully completing the final test of this e-learning module, you will receive an HSL Safety Instruction Certificate via email. This certificate replaces the previous physical access pass. The certificate includes a QR code that you can save in your phone’s wallet. This QR code serves as proof that you have successfully completed the safety instruction. When entering the HSL route, this QR code will be scanned and verified.

Login with email address
From now on, you will log in with your email address instead of a username and have a personal profile page where you can update your personal details and retrieve your certificate at any time.

Transition Year

Do you have an access pass that is valid beyond 03-03-2025?
The coming year will be a transition year. If you already have an access pass, it will remain valid until the expiration date stated on it. When renewing the HSL Safety Instruction Certificate, this pass will expire, and the new certificate will be available digitally.

Did you last complete this e-learning module before 01-01-2024?
Then you need to register as a new user. This is necessary to ensure that all your information is up to date and that you have access to the latest version of the HSL Safety Instruction Certificate.
